Maître Edwin Treffers

The maître is the living soul of a fencing-hall, so it happens at SV Zaal Treffers. The bond between the maître and the fencer is based on trust, passion, loyalty and transparency. Often the bond develops strong and it can last for years even after the fencer as moved to another club or even stopped fencing.

Our maître Edwin Treffers leads the training sessions, coaches the individual fencers and supports them during the competitions. He is one of the association founders and Board’s member, in his role he advises the Board on technical matters and the future fencing trends.
